The Razr 60 Ultra is my first folding phone. First impressions are mostly positive. The phone is small and compact when folded. Most apps run on the small display when folded. It's no problem to play music, watch a YouTube video and reply to messages without opening your phone. The battery life on a single charge is around 1.5 days for me, fast wireless charging comes in handy. The phone is fast and smooth, and Motorola's body is relatively lightweight and close to the Android from the Pixels. The Snapdragon Elite doesn't show much muscle though, it's pretty limited by the temperature limit in the design of the folding phone. MotoAI offers a number of features, but my enthusiasm quickly waned. The language model is often completely off even in English, so the AI button is useless and unused, the competition does it much better. I hope the button can be remapped to another function in the future. The phone's software has a few minor but annoying bugs. For example, the camera refused to start until I uninstalled its update from the Play Store and then updated again. A couple of Motorola apps had the same problem. Favourite contacts don't work in Android Auto even if they're set up on your phone. I then had to reboot the phone once when the environment remained stuck in small screen mode even after opening it. These are small things, but given the price of the device, they are quite disappointing.
From the colour options I chose the one that is the least wild for me - green. The phone is beautiful to look at and touch, but it's hard to say how the Alcantara will look in a few months. Personally, I would have preferred some more durable material, but for now the included case solves that. I'm curious about the long-term experience. All the puzzles give me a fragile impression, but they should last a while.
