For the price, these are quite decent watch that may suit many people. However, for my purpose – where I require connection to fitness machines for heart rate monitoring and the ability to get an activity file combining data from both the machine and the watch – they are completely unsuitable due to the closed software. I knew the system would be more closed than the competition, but this is a bit much. At the same time, the time went out of sync during activity tracking – over 30 minutes it lagged by 18 seconds, hard to say why. After this discovery, I didn't even bother testing the GPS and other features.
