I would have bought the mobile for my father, so far he has not complained, with selected models from Motorola one really buys quality, unfortunately their whole line up is not quite super, one has to do research, this one fortunately is super. Honestly, I don't follow the world of mobile phones much, so there is a possibility that some mobile phone is better, even at a discount, so research is very important.
I'm buying the phone for my dad for Christmas. The strongest point of this phone is the performance/price ratio, which is almost perfect, especially when you hit some more action. The phone has almost all the gadgets of phones a class or two above (except wireless charging). Android with the moto superstructure is great and I have been using it for some time now and I don't mind the moto gestures. However, they could do without the pre-installed apps. It doesn't have some extremely supercharged HW, but the one it does have is more than sufficient for most casual users who don't play games and doesn't look somehow cheap like phones around 5K 5 years ago. I definitely recommend this phone.
Purchased as a Christmas present. To test if everything works, I tested it properly all day long and I have to say that for the price of 4999 CZK, - ( bought at a discount ) it's a great phone. I liked it so much that I ordered a similar Motorola Moto G86 Power 5G 12GB/256GB the very next day. The phone would be a little more suited to aluminum frames, but in this price range. The only thing I really miss is the 3.5mm jack connector, which I understand that in the age of wireless headphones, not many people use anymore. I definitely recommend the phone.

The Motorola Moto G86 5G with its sleek design is a well-equipped mid-range phone. The P-OLED display with Gorilla Glass 7i has a pleasingly fine resolution (2712×1220 px) and 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth and crisp display.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which is certainly enough for the smooth running of Android and most applications.
The photographic equipment includes a 50Mpx main sensor with optical stabilisation, an 8Mpx wide-angle and macro camera, so plenty of room for experimentation, and of course there's a selfie camera with an excellent 32Mpx resolution.
The battery has an excellent capacity of 5200 mAh (30W fast charging), so at least 2 days of battery life is guaranteed. The phone is waterproof and dustproof (with MIL-STD 810H military certification), which is not common in this price range and makes it more outdoor friendly.
Modern features include 5G, NFC, eSIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a fingerprint reader, so it doesn't lack anything essential.
Bottom line, simply an excellent price/performance ratio in its class.
The only thing worth mentioning that the phone doesn't have is wireless charging.
