This thermometer is used to measure the temperature on the forehead by pointing to the temple, pressing the button, swiping across the forehead to the other temple and releasing the button there. I assume the thermometer is then based on some average of the readings. I think it's more accurate than thermometers that are supposed to be pointed at the middle of the forehead, and then it depends on whether I hit a cooler or warmer spot. This is also reflected in the consecutive readings, which have minimal variance, unlike thermometers, which are supposed to be measured in only one place. So for me, I am satisfied and I gave five stars.
The thermometer also has a clock (incl. data), which has the advantage that when I go through the memory of the last measurements, I can see for each one when it came from.
