I almost didn't take the box with the talire home from Alzabox - it was extremely heavy and I immediately realized that porcelain is not like porcelain. The plates are made of heavy stoneware, heavier than a regular Ikea plate. The topping bowl is extremely small compared to the rest, but heavy. The set looks really nice on the table and visually I was impressed, but I'm returning it because of the weight.
