It's quite robust.
Tripod threads from the bottom and back
There is a hinged plastic leg at the back so it can be used as a table stand. It's a little wobbly, but when he's not pushing, he's holding
A smaller phone, like the iPhone SE, holds it reliably. I'm a little dubious about the bigger phones.
The price is a bit inflated, but halt Manfrotto

It has two possibilities of attachment to the stand: from the back and side. Firm grip. Very high quality design. Just Manfrotto.

I don't know why others here have such a problem with spring stiffness. It is a photo/video accessory, not a desk mount. The phone must hold firmly, which this product does.
Spring firm just enough to hold the phone well
Quite beatable plastic for the price
2 x 1/4" threads
The overlap of the pads is large enough for the iPhone 15 with a thicker cover
