For those who mainly need a web browser, multimedia and text editor, this is probably the best choice. Performance is more than sufficient (it can run Cyberpunk, which surprised me a lot), the battery is enough for most of the day at least. The quality of processing is unrivalled among Windows laptops. You can't get a similar touchpad and keyboard from other brands for twice the price - the only thing missing from the MacBook Pro is Force Touch and backlighting, but otherwise it's the same quality. Nothing squeaks, nothing flexes, nothing hums and nothing overheats anywhere. The display and speakers are great, the webcam is noticeably better than the competition at the same price. Demanding users may lack RAM, but if you don't need to have 60 panels open at once, you won't have a problem (not using Google Chrome is also a good choice, both for RAM and battery). Otherwise, the Mac is perfectly fine with the 8GB for normal work. And the operating system itself is a joy to use. I grew up on Windows but have grown disgusted with it over the years. I took the silver colour because of the white keys - the labels are easier to read in the dark.
