I bought the mouse for my 10-year-old daughter, who has smaller hands. She was very happy with the mouse. The battery life is amazing. The buttons are so quiet that I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything quite so quiet. However, after about four months, the left button – which I used a lot – started playing up. Sometimes it doesn’t respond until you press harder, or only in a specific spot. Occasionally, it triggers a double-click. After another month and a half, the right button started playing up in the same way. It’s a great shame, and probably the price you pay for silent buttons. I use a Logitech vertical mouse, which makes a very loud clicking sound, but it has worked absolutely reliably for over two years now, and I’ve never had it fail to respond to a click or register a double-click.
In my opinion, the mouse is far too expensive given its lifespan. I’d much rather pay a bit more for a mouse that will actually work reliably for more than two years, rather than just a few months. I thought I was buying quality here, but I was wrong.
