Where does Herman Miller Embody fit in this chair. I had a Mirra 2 from HM that kept cracking my back. But what's worse - a totally uncomfortable chair that destroyed my discs. I reclaimed it and replaced it with their legendary Embody. That was some total American, overpriced sh**. Not only did each chair have one arm higher than the other, but it was extremely uncomfortable - after sitting all day, it put a strain on my gluteal muscles and made my back hurt terribly. I probably won't even comment on the armrests - a 50K chair and the armrests are like a cheap IKEA chair, even that often has better ones. I sold it and got a Libernova Omni chair. I was already excited about it when it was on Kickstarter. The moment I saw that they already have production versions on Alza.cz - WOW, finally I'll have something to exchange this Embody shit for. I bought it immediately. The chair is beautifully packaged, great manual, 20 minutes and you are folded. So it feels much more premium than the Embody, but mostly I was amazed at the amazing engineering - truly brilliant. I sat in it for the first time and the WOW effect came instantly. I had a vivid memory of that hard, non-ergonomic Embody board, and this was a blast. The chair hugs you, you're like a net. What's more, after hours of sitting, when I stood up, I found that I didn't feel any back pain. I almost dare say they're rested. UNBELIEVABLE! Finally an ergonomic chair! I love her. I love it and it saved my life because I really spend most of my time on the PC. The feats she has are great - like lying down at her highest possible angle, that's awesome. It's better than my bed, no joke, even if you have the footstool to go with it. It's great for relaxing and unwinding after a long day of work or play. I use it every day and once a day I do the stretching and I really feel that my muscles are a bit more relaxed. I was all about the work position, which for me is a 120 degree angle, and the chair works brilliantly there too. I recommend this chair with all ten. I've tried a lot of chairs in my life and finally found one that is not just an overpriced, uncomfortable, marketing sh** from the US but a truly functional ergonomic chair. Not for nothing is China a technological superpower. Thank you, Libernovo!
great engineering
Premium look
FUNCTIONAL ERGONOMICS!
terribly comfortable! After 10+ hours of sitting, it keeps me thinking creatively and comfortable and nothing hurts after standing up !
Beautiful Design
The workmanship is very high quality
It squeaks less - almost not at all - than a 50K Herman Miller chair.
I can't think of anything, maybe the smaller seat cushion might bother some people, but if you have a footrest it doesn't matter but I didn't mind without it.

I was considering the HM Embody, but I didn't make a mistake with the secondary piston for back massage. The HM incomprehensibly doesn't have a headrest and especially that massage piston, that one made the difference. I was surprised how quickly my back pain was relieved with about 6 massages a day. The disadvantage is the necessity to buy the footrest, which is only in light colour and especially the extended warranty. The chair only has 2 years on the electronics and they probably know why. I.e. that overall, with a reasonable purchase, it costs 40k, but I have no regrets. I use massage all the time. I work at the comp 16 hrs a day / 7 days a week and the difference from my last chair is enormous. The relief from back pain after a week is noticeable. The armrests might put a little more resistance, but I don't know if that's a drawback, more of a habit when I play on the iPad in laws (3 position for 4, I play a massage and the armrests hold, all cool). I'd make the headrest deeper, but then again that wouldn't straighten my cervical spine. Structurally it's not an HM, but that piston and headrest is an extra perk. We'll see how HM reacts to this next season. The price differs from HM by only 8k, because it is more or less a necessity to buy a warranty for another 3 years + a footstool for 2,5k + I bought a replacement immediately, but I still don't regret it. It's a good buy.
The massage piston is robust and lifts me without any problems.
After 14 days of use (6 times a day massage), a significant decrease in pain in the lower back. I don't think you'll find that with HM.
Main piston strength (I have 125 kg)
Ergonomics, but you need footrests. I.e. + 2.6k, but they only have the light: ( and there are no orders for other colors to date: (
You will immediately notice the relief from pain during the massage. It's nice.
The solidity of the basic spine of the whole chair.
Immediate spinal flexion already in position 2 (there are 4 in total).
The leaning resistance adjustment is also tuned to your weight.
Ease of adjustment of secondary piston height and massage. (I'm using more and more. )
Ease of chair assembly.
It's comfortable.
Ease of adjusting the desired depth of the secondary piston with the thumb of the left hand.
Weaker battery (Max 3 days with 6 massages per day). It charges at 8 watts, but I guess it doesn't matter. I throw it on USB-C overnight and that's it.
Too much flexibility of the arm for some, but I don't know if that's a disadvantage. I'm getting used to it.
Necessity to purchase a footstool, could be part of such an expensive product.
The seat depth could be a bit more, but it's probably a matter of habit and your weight and height.
The need to purchase an extra 3-year warranty. The chair has a pretty limited warranty on the electronics (only 2 years), be careful not to buy a new one in 2 years and be in over your head. HM Embody has a complete for12 years, but not has that piston and head pad. I.e. that you'll pay 40k for a chair with a footrest + warranty.
The black plastic stains the light table with heavy abrasion.
