We used the flask repeatedly and unfortunately the same fault appeared in the pump mechanism on approximately five units. A plastic component broke inside the pump, and the pump subsequently stopped working correctly. So it wasn't just one faulty piece, but a repeated experience with the same type of defect. For this reason, I have serious doubts about the long-term reliability of the pump mechanism. The flask itself otherwise does its job, but the pump is a crucial part of the product and in our case, it proved to be the weak spot. I would therefore recommend potential customers to be aware of this possibility.

The first one – the pump gave out after 10 uses, right in the middle of winter; just brilliant. The second one was probably taken aback at having to make tea in the middle of June, so just to be on the safe side, after I’d poured in the first bit of hot water, the inner liner swelled up, it split open completely and the entire contents spilled out from the bottom – really brilliant, scalding water all over the kitchen; just as well I was standing 2 metres away.
