I guess it's fair to say I have two, the other one is fine so far, so it could have been a defect in one particular piece. The complaint was also without problems. But I wouldn't take it a second time anyway, unless you want it not for decoration but for cooking. You can't really put the lid on other than to seal it completely, so if you don't want anything to leak, you have to put it completely off. Moreover, it is shaped in such a way that it cannot be washed completely and the dried dirt "behind the rim" 😀 is visible through the glass.
