At 10k at the end of 2025, it's clearly a "best buy". It's one of the fastest drives for Danvici Resolve and I bought a second 4TB for the OS.

The price difference between the Gen4 and Gen5 version is not big, I would recommend buying this Gen5 version, even if you only have the Gen4 M.2 slot right now. A Gen5 capable ssd controller will have a slight advantage for some types of usage even when connected via older Gen4. Plus, it's more future-proof, which is handy because the drive should have a relatively long lifespan.
