I'm not sure of the reason, but like the other two reviewers, I found the RC-02 version made for PCI-E 4.0 With this fact and the price a perfect choice.
I also got the pci 4.0 riser, tested with RX 6700XT graphics and everything runs as it should in 4.0 mode. No stability problems, I have had the riser for a month
