The bulb failed to pair with the manufacturer's app, probably because I don't have a Zigbee gateway, however, the manufacturer nowhere, not even on their official website, states that without a Zigbee gateway the bulb is practically useless. Hence the one star. I was counting on the fact that I can normally connect the bulb to the app - I understood the Zigbee functionality as an added value, not as a necessity. Zigbee gateway owners will probably be happy. The Apple HomeKit logo is also misleading - you can't pair the bulb with Apple HomeKit without owning a Zigbee gateway.
Owners of the Zigbee gateway will definitely be satisfied.
Cannot pair with the manufacturer's app unless you have a Zigbee gateway.
