If you are already using valves in a system with a Honeywell Home EvoTouch Wi-Fi central unit, this new valve type (with new encryption) cannot be paired without updating the central unit. If the valve fails to pair, you probably do not have the current version of the central unit firmware installed. Getting the update is a bit tricky, but possible. You must contact technical support: tel..: +420 800 144 238, e-mail: [email protected]. You will need the username or MAC address of the central unit. After approval, the update is automatically uploaded (24h) to the unit and then the system must be reconfigured. If you have managed to get the system up and running in the past, this will be a piece of cake.
