Unnecessary purchase. Bottle's not very smart. It only flashes once an hour, regardless of whether you drank the whole bottle on ex the second before. Connecting to a mobile phone is also useless. A drunk bottle doesn't register itself, I have to put my phone to it. Once I have it in my hand, it's not much slower to record it using an app widget. The bottom line is - you can replace both with a cell phone and get the same (if not better, I won't see the blinking in my backpack) functionality.
The bottle as such looks ok, but you can buy a similar one for a third/quarter of the price.
If you want a really smart solution, you'll have to pay extra.
