I appreciate the speed of preparation and the ability to set the final consistency using the rotary dial. The higher price is somewhat compensated for by its multifunctionality; it can handle classic ice cream as well as iced drinks. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cleaning. It has a self-cleaning programme and the individual parts are easy to rinse. It doesn't look like it at first glance, but because of the compressor, the appliance is quite heavy.

I think it’s great, mainly because of the speed. My children always want everything done quickly. They enjoy being able to get involved in the preparation, and the ice cream’s ready in 5 minutes. We usually use milk, vanilla extract and a little sugar, and the ice cream disappears in no time. We also tried some orange juice and added prosecco to the slushie we’d made, which went down a treat with us.
Another plus is that the ice-cream maker is easy to clean.
