I was happy with the phone, used it for over a year and a half, replaced it with a Pixel 9 PRO: )
cameras
frequent system updates
good price/performance ratio
loud stereo speaker
wireless charging and battery sharing
IP68 resistance, NFC
overheating
a little trouble with cables, not all will take for fast charging/data
protruding cameras - must be in a case/cover to avoid damage

ESSENTIAL NOTE: Beware that when you insert the sim card, the data and network will probably not work. The update that was being offered anyway helped me. So just stay on the wifi: D Long story short: Thanks to pixel 4a I stayed loyal to pixel and got this seven. ____________________________________________ I switched from the still functional 4a version, more for sake of sake, as this 7 was the last in stock here at the time as new stock. The 4a was the only phone so far that survived without any complaints for the third year (I had mostly sony), when it fell on the ground on various surfaces countless times, without damaging the display (and sometimes without a cover). The only thing that took the blows was the top corner, which is slightly crooked on the back (about two cm max), but still holds firmly. And it charges best with the old, already damaged cable (the new one somehow fails to accept..: D) It bothers me overall that phones are getting bigger and heavier. 4a was phenomenal at this. The 7 is great in many aspects, but so far it hasn't had any competition (for me personally) - I still have it as a backup phone: ) However, this phone so far seems just as decent, even better in terms of sw.
The front cameras are really fine at pixels.
I like the wide angle version of the camera: )
The sound is fine
The interface is great.
Clean android and updates.
The fingerprint reader scans well, even unlocking with your face is fine.
The star down is for the front camera and for me personally the oversized size of the phone.
The front camera sucks on pixels. I don't know why no one addresses this, but when you take a picture from any distance, your face is out of focus - it's infinitely out of focus from your ears backwards: D Because of this I even replaced my first pixel 4a with a new one and the problem persisted. And then I tried it with this one, and the problem was virtually the same. Probably software misalignment.
The size is terrible for me personally: D And I don't have small hands. It's slow to not put it in your pocket, plus with the cover still on (like most new phones), but to hold in your hand or keep on a cord: D
I guess I'm generally bothered by the protruding cameras on new phones (including the Pixel 4a), where the cover is already included. Then the design of your phone is actually useless if you cover it up with a cover design.

I have been using the mobile for 4 months and I recommend it only to those who are tech savvy. Due to software issues my battery has now deteriorated significantly, but that's been resolved with the new android 14.

Excellent camera that helps AI
Quality material

Software often goes wrong
When I bought the phone, it got really hot. I had to sign up for the beta software to get it to stop.
Doesn't have a powerful enough chip for heavier games (Genshin Impact)

If you are not technically savvy and can't search the internet I can't recommend it. But it looks like Google may finally be expanding into the Czech market. But we can only guess how long it will take. When Google starts to support the Czech Republic, many of these problems could be solved.
Realisticly functional and pretty much responsive auto brightness compared to other phones I've had in the past. On my previous phones, auto brightness was basically non-functional.
Display has sufficient brightness even on a very sunny day
90Hz display
Shoots very well
Features to make life easier(Offline text recognition in image, quick image cutout, offline translation via camera)
Battery life(may vary drastically depending on your usage style)
Based on my testing the phone has a USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 5Gbs USB-C port(fast transfer to and from phone memory)
"Stereo" speakers
Reverse wireless charging and fast charging
NFC can be caught even from a really long distance (option to turn on to unlock the device before reading NFC or electronic payment)
The ability to trigger a selected action by double tapping the back of the phone
eSIM
In the case of having to completely reinstall the phone system, there are probably no phones that have it easier than the Pixels. Literally in the browser.
Features to make life easier(Offline text recognition in image, quick image cutout, offline translation via camera). Classic problem when Google can't get anything right. But this is a general problem found in perhaps everything Google has ever done. Also offline translation for example doesn't have Czech and overall the choice of languages is quite limited.
It has no official support in our country. This can bring problems like you not being able to reach you or someone reaching you. This problem may be caused by "broken" VoLTE and similar features. But in reality, it looks like the phone doesn't recognise your carrier and simply doesn't turn on the feature. It also won't show it so you can turn it on. There is a solution but it requires a developer console. It is a very simple process but for a non-technical user this is very difficult to impossible to do. But with a step-by-step guide, it would do it without a problem.
It is not possible to light up the screen, for example by waving the phone
no headphone jack and SD card slot

I switched from a Huawei p30 pro which I had as new when it had the best camera on the market and the switch to Google took me about a day. Super phone and I can recommend it to everyone. A better phone would've been just the pro version, but at that price point clearly Google.
great photos
good display
fast charging
lots of little things to make it easier to use
pure Google
a bit slippery, but the cover secures it
