Honestly I would have expected a bit more from the aorus card, but since I bought it at a good price (19 990czk) so I won't be returning it, I don't know how US tariffs will bend prices further. The card has a pretty loud coil whine about the same volume as the card at full load (according to the baseline curve in the performance bios, not 100% fan speed), but that's just a lottery and mostly doesn't depend on the brand, so my bad luck, I can't hear it through headphones fortunately, I'll try 3 more separate cables from the power supply (I have 2 at the moment) The RGB on the fans is pretty weak and it's mainly visible at lower fan speeds, mainly because it flickers like a disco ball, even though the other RGB lights have smooth color transitions (I don't use the flicker like a Christmas tree), so it's pretty distracting. The loud clicking of the fans when stopping at 0 rpm is also quite disturbing, especially when the rest of the PC is already quiet at that point, as it is not under load. As for the cooler (noise/temperature) it is great, but according to online reviews I don't think it is much better than cheaper models. I was buying the card mainly for the design (taichi is still horribly expensive), but in terms of functionality I think the cheaper models will be very similar and the extra cost is almost purely aesthetic.
Design
Quiet (radiator)
Excellent cooler
Loud coil whine (fault of the piece rather than the brand)
When stopping the fans at 0 rpm, a loud whirring noise occurs
Slow fan speeds produce a strobe effect that spoils the static effects of other RGB components
Very powerful and quiet (after adjusting the vent. ) card, quality processing, for me the nicest design of 9070XT. After installing the drivers and setting the OC BIOS settings the card sounds like a Gripen starting up, in GCC you can set your own fan speed curve, 40% is absolutely enough, the cooler is oversized, when playing the temperatures are 55-65°C (HotSpot and memory have about 20°C more, but it seems to be normal for these cards).
Who is able to survive the few technical glitches and doesn't mind not having a card from the green team anymore, this card offers a lot of music for relatively little money.
High performance
quiet
Overclocking options
It works even on a good 750W power supply (in contrast, it is recommended 850W)
Minor problem with auto stopping fan which generates a strange clicking sound, hopefully will be solved by some driver update or VBIOS
The LED backlighting of the fans is virtually invisible and produces a strobe effect at low speeds.
Need to be a bit more experienced user and play around with driver settings to make the card work optimally
If you also have a Gigabyte motherboard and you use GCC program so it argues with AMD adrenaline program about the speed of the fans, it is necessary to create your own curve in GCC and save it, then when you start GCC and AMD adrenaline program will not create automatic non-functional graphs
