I have a very quiet setup, which is "drowned out" by the aquarium filter during normal work or watching videos. This card had quite pronounced coil whine in games at higher framerates (150+ FPS), but much worse was the fan noise. When the fan stop stopped being active and the fans started, the card literally growled. From the change in the frequency of the whirring when the speed changes, I assume the noise was coming from the bearings. However, I replaced the card with a 4070ti super from Palit (gamingpro) and it has a similar problem. Coil whine +- the same, fan whine a bit less. Only then did I find out that Gainward and Palit are one company. So, for me, I don't really recommend it. But those with generally noisier PCs probably won't be so strict.
The transition from the 2080S is really noticeable, 4K handles left rear to full and doesn't even break a sweat, I'm really happy.
