Unfortunately, it removes not only undesirable substances from the water, but also desirable ones and the device is unable to reverse mineralize. But a pinch of Himalayan salt or mineral drops in filtered water can help. You just don't want to do that in every glass. So I recommend not to drink water exclusively from this device, but to combine it with regular water or mineral water.
After commissioning, I had to run the flush about 18 times before the water stopped having that strange smell and taste that was caused by something inside the machine (I hope I won't have to do this every time I change one of the filters). In addition to the classic flushes, I had about 3 tanks of hot water flowing. It takes patience, but maybe it was the fact that our water is from a well and we soften it at the entrance to the house with special salt, Now the machine is running great.
