The X-E5 seemed like the ideal camera for everyday photography. The photo quality is excellent; the 40Mpx sensor is surprisingly quite good even in lower light. Unfortunately, the camera isn't very comfortable to hold, it digs into your hand a bit, and the button layout isn't exactly great either. The display has a lower resolution, but on the whole, it's usable. The EVF is worse; it has a low resolution, low magnification, and if you wear glasses, you can forget about it. The focusing has improved compared to the X-T4 I had, but it's still on par with my 8-year-old Lumix G9 with DFD. The controls and menu are typical Fuji, so not great, but not outright bad either. Personally, I would prefer a PASM dial, but everyone has their own preference. The price you pay for the sensor resolution is the file size. To be able to handle it, you need a high-quality lens. Honestly, the 26Mpx on the older sensors was just right.
