I needed one urgently so I grabbed this one, as nothing else was in stock. It works as it should even in a different case, but it did require some modification. It even works with a USB3 to USB-C motherboard adapter. I put it in an Evolveo T3 case where it fit perfectly into the blanking plate on the front of the case.
works
length – it can then be threaded under the back plate to the target connector
compatibility – won't fit anywhere other than Fractal due to a different screw spacing without minor modification.
some screws were missing, but I was in a hurry so I didn't bother sorting it out, but for such an expensive cable it's not very nice.
