I can't recommend it, definitely worth the extra money for the original Apple cable. It fulfils the basic task of being half the price (at the time of purchase), but it is inferior in all relevant respects. The cable itself is thicker than Apple's, so it's a bit harder to handle, the magnet is weaker, so it's much easier to accidentally disconnect it, and the "head" (i.e. the magsafe connector itself) bigger and heavier, which means it's even harder to hold in the computer. I returned it.
I had a similar problem as the gentleman from the review 02.05.2024. Normally it was weak from the beginning but it charged normally, anyway I wanted to advertise it right away but when I came back after I don't know, about an hour or two the cable was plugged in but angled, and it was charging, so it was clearly on the complaint! The same thing repeated several times, sometimes it charged, sometimes not, for me it is dangerous. Anyway, I had it reclaimed, and the cable I got in exchange is nowhere near as bad as the first one. So I guess it depends on what piece you get, but it still holds worse than the original Finally 3 stars because I found out that you can buy for 500 kč on a foreign site cable better which is more similar to the original

Quite a big disappointment. I was buying for 850, the current one I'm looking at is over 1000. Don't waste your time with this and just buy the original from Apple and you'll be fine. Or buy a quality USB-C cable for less than half the price. This doesn't make sense.

The cable itself is relatively thin, well flexible.
Magsafe end cap misery, lousy contact.
It almost never starts charging the first time, I always have to tilt the end cap after connecting and reconnect to get it to "catch".
The magnet is weak, easily deflected and loses contact.
When charging, the red LED is only slightly lit, you have to look at it closely and vertically from above. You can't see a thing in daylight from half a metre away.
Thanks to the two points above, sometimes you won't notice that your macbook has stopped charging.
