It's not a must have device, but it does come in handy from time to time. Anyone who has some kind of multimedia upgrade on their printer probably won't get much use out of it. I spliced the leftover filament so I wouldn't throw it away unnecessarily. The joint is holding really well. Teflon tubes are used for joining. There's plenty in the box, but they'll have to get more eventually. Well, hopefully they'll still be selling them.
the connection works well
easy to use
the need to buy Teflon tubes
