I chose it based on how long it would last to shred, although I have it for a home office with one user. But I always cut back when there's more. When shredding, I look to see if I'm shredding something I shouldn't = this slows down the pace and I don't max it out. the number of sheets (often quoted for a different weight, in my experience we most often use 80g paper and manufacturers calculate it to 60g). I'll wipe her out sometimes. I'm satisfied with the mic. We had the same brand at work, but with an automatic feeder and it was great, which is why I chose this brand.
