Faber-Castell School+ is the full name of this pen. I wanted to test on my "old" knees whether I could write with a fountain pen and whether I could use it on a regular basis. I always like it when someone around me opens a notebook and takes out a fountain pen with which writing becomes almost a ritual. It makes no sense to buy a pen in the thousands for a trial run. Given the very positive reviews, where even though it is in the lowest price category (and the cheapest fountain pen on Alza), I wasn't afraid to A highly recommend it if anyone wants to try a fountain pen to reminisce about elementary school.
Standard international bombs, both short and long, a second short one fits into the pen, it should always be inserted there, it works as a safety device to prevent the used bomb from being released, for example by vibration.
With support for long cartridges, it should be possible to use a Faber-Castell converter, or another standard converter if you prefer to use your own ink or write a lot and want to save money.
The pen cover snaps on, it takes quite a bit of force to snap it on, just like opening it. It may wear out over time, but with a new one, there's certainly no risk of it opening accidentally.
The nib is excellent for this price range and has good ink flow.
