I can't imagine that the battery could last up to 6 months as stated in the description.
After a month, it's at 56% and I've got the detection sensitivity down to a minimum. Maybe if it shuts off completely and the bell just rings when the button is pressed it will get the battery life down to 3-4 months and no one can ring it very often.
But for me even the 2 months are enough and there is no problem to let the bell charge.
Overall I am satisfied with the bell, it fulfils its function 100%.
