Comparison of the ETA6297 10/2 with a six-month-old OMRON M2 Essential blood pressure monitor: I performed 34 pairs of measurements at approx. 2-minute intervals, over the course of just under a month. In half of the cases, the ETA6297 10/2 was used first, and in the other half, the OMRON was used first. Systolic pressure ⟨ETA − OMRON⟩ = 9.8 ± 0.9 (σ=5.0) [mmHg] Diastolic pressure ⟨ETA − OMRON⟩ = 2.6 ± 0.6 (σ=3.2) [mmHg] Heart rate ⟨ETA − OMRON⟩ = 0.1 ± 0.7 (σ=3.7) [1/min] The ± represents the estimated standard error (standard deviation of the arithmetic mean), σ is the standard deviation of the individual differences. The ETA therefore systematically gives a higher value for both pressures; the difference is significant. The σ values also call into question the manufacturer's claim of an "error of ± 3 mmHg" for systolic pressure. No difference was detected in heart rate. Based on a (single) measurement at the doctor's, I believe the OMRON measures more accurately.

pressure gauge very nice but for me personally very annoying thing, connection to apple health only in the form of a paid membership, so the pressure gauge will become damn expensive over time or you can enter the data manually and you don't need any smart pressure gauge 🤷‍♂️
