Purchased for a purely local smart home. Unfortunately, it wouldn't pair. When it "succeeded", it disconnected from the gate within half a minute (about a meter from the station, the signal was max. ). De facto it didn't matter, because in Home Assistant it paired when the station wasn't in pairing mode, and when I managed to switch the station to pairing, HA didn't see it... A really moody device. If it at least had some sort of reset button for better pairing, even removing the batteries didn't help.
Without pairing, the station shows static readings when batteries are inserted/turned on, not to mention a bad date. So without a gate, it's just a clock with a bad time.
Either he doesn't want to be friends with a gate that isn't from EMOS, or he doesn't want to be friends with HA.
For the price of a Zigbee gateway + mint. You could build several of your own heat/humidity meters from the kits, but unfortunately probably without a display; )
