The vacuum cleaner is a lightweight thin sheet metal container, it came in the box a little dented but I was able to straighten it out by hand. Alza didn't go to much trouble to pack the box though! Only on the original box put a sticker for shipping, but no packaging!
It is interesting how the tube is built, it is the opposite of other vacuum cleaners.
