Regarding the air leak: I would only recommend this to more experienced users, but I managed to fix it. After I located the leak at the seal of the tilting valve, I gently removed the seal, degreased it, and put a thin layer of silicone around the inner side of the seal (the part that touches the plastic, not the valve) and around the perimeter of the seal. I wouldn't blame Alza for this, it's clearly a manufacturing defect with the cheap plastic body, and the seal wasn't making proper contact with the walls. So Einhell, get your act together so you're not selling such a nice tool that doesn't seal properly. Also, after taking the machine apart, I would highly recommend adding an oiler. Unlike a rivet gun, for example, this looks like it would suffer a lot if not kept constantly lubricated.
