I use it primarily as a router for a VR headset, but when I go somewhere I throw it in my backpack with a powerbank and plug my phone into it on the train, or in the car, or at the cottage when I want more security with a VPN right in the router. So far I haven't had anything go wrong, except for two occasions when I reconfigured the router and then didn't reset it and it just got stuck and wouldn't send internet to the device, but that was my fault.
A tiny "travel" router. It has 6 antennas in total (four are inside) and provides a good signal. Unfortunately, as it is small, it gets quite hot, and the consumption is also probably not exactly small - the power supply is built for 5V 3A, so theoretically up to 15W, which is a lot compared to other routers. The first two of these routers went out after 2 weeks (Alza accepted the claim without any problems), the third lasted and works for over a year.
The user interface is complicated at first, but after a while you get used to it. It's nice that you can plug a USB flash drive into the router and have a simple network drive.
The disadvantage is that the router has only one(! ) LAN-port, and so anything else you have to connect via wifi. It can simultaneously provide 2.4GHz, 5GHz and Guest Network.
The slanted LED lights are also luxurious, they look a bit like fox's eyes and also glow red.
The router is ready to travel, so it can be powered directly from the laptop via a normal USB-C cable. but in my opinion, it is a mistake that it has vents from the top as well, so dust can easily get in.
a perfect and versatile device that I can only recommend
very compact dimensions
configurable slide switch that can be used to deactivate the LED lights, or to turn on. /Off. VPN without having to go into the router configuration
USB C power supply, so you can use a cell phone charger, power bank, whatever you have on hand
wide range of configuration options (basically anything you can think of can be configured using a clear interface via a web browser)
A smartphone app is available for quick and easy configuration on the go. It doesn't contain all the settings, but for normal and especially quick settings it is great.
The router configuration can also be accessed remotely via cloud management (after registration)
possibility to share data from a connected storage device (flash drive, USB HDD/SSD) - usable and fast enough
with direct visibility between the device and the router, the transmission is stable and fast
poorer signal penetration through obstacles, but this is understandable for such a small device
