The Creative ZEN Hybrid Gen2 headphones are a pleasant surprise - they fit well on the head, are comfortable even when worn for long periods of time, and have great bass, so I really enjoy music and movies. Noise cancellation works decently, especially for low sounds like noise or traffic noise, although higher tones do occasionally cut through slightly. The battery lasts incredibly long, so I hardly worry about charging. The controls are simple, no complicated touchscreens - just classic buttons, and the app lets me tweak the sound to suit me. Overall a fine choice for everyday listening, whether on the road or at home.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the headphones. They offer an excellent price/performance ratio. The construction is high quality, strong, yet lightweight. I appreciate the ability to fold them up and carry them in the included pouch - perfect for travel. The sound is above average for this price range, with nice bass and clear presentation. Compared to my older HyperX at twice the price, they sound better. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) works quite well - it dampens computer noise, keyboard noise and some ambient voices, but there is room for improvement here, it didn't suppress the conversations of colleagues in the office. The ability to switch between three modes (ANC, off, ambient) is nice, but personally I would have skipped the ambient mode, it didn't suit me very well and I probably never used it properly, but I believe it can be a great feature for some people. The battery life is great - with 6-7 hours of daily use, I've only charged the headphones twice in three weeks. Which I very much appreciate. As for comfort, I was pleasantly surprised. I looked at other reviews, and read that some had problems with this, either headaches when wearing it, or that the headphones didn't fit them. Although they felt a bit tight at first (compared to the aforementioned HyperX headphones), I got used to them within an hour and now I wear them all day without any problems and find them very comfortable. However, I believe that for someone with larger ears or head, the headphones may be uncomfortable. Although I am one of the individuals whose head is not the smallest, I like the headphones. One good observation I read in another review is the breathability and unfortunately I have to agree with that, the headphones don't breathe much and I can't imagine wearing these headphones for more than an hour in the hot summer months without my ears burning and the headphones getting all sweaty. On the other hand, I understand that without this design, ANC would probably not work very well. Connectivity is fast and stable, the headset allows you to connect multiple devices at once and switching between them works seamlessly. There is no need for lengthy Bluetooth switching between devices, which improves the user experience. What bothered me sometimes was the microphone, it worked fine when I was on the phone, but when I had a video call on the PC or used the headset as a sound source in the OBS studio, it didn't work so well Overall, I rate this as a great option at the price and would definitely recommend it for purchase.

The headphones were in the box together with the cable, case and manual, I must note that the case is nice, but it is not able to protect the headphones any safer, as it is only fabric, good enough to protect against dust and fading. The headphones are quite comfortable on the ears, but after prolonged wearing my ears hurt. Unfortunately, ANC is not able to completely suppress ambient noise, rather it only reduces it, for example, subway, bus, typing and people sounds are still audible, albeit to a lesser extent. The sound of the headphones sometimes drops out even when I'm not in motion. The headset has an app where you can switch ANC mods, adjust the equalizer from preset mods, but it could be more sophisticated and offer more options. The sound of the headphones is more bassy. The endurance for me was about 40-44h versus up to 70 hours.
+ ANC technology
Low Latency mode
Frequent firmware updates
Quite decent sound
ANC is underdeveloped, does not work properly in certain circumstances
The headphone microphone does not always pick up the sound
Headphone status is not always shown correctly in the app
Sound dropout
The endurance indicated by the manufacturer is unrealistic for daily wear

To begin with, I would say that I was very surprised by the quality of the headphones. Both the quality of workmanship and the quality of sound. Before I started writing this review, I of course looked at the reviews of others. There are a few things I would like to comment on. I have noted in reviews that the headphones press on the ears. Well I don't really have this problem and it's because I have quite small ears that literally fit into the headphones. Therefore, the headphones do not cover my ears and do not press anywhere. I feel comfortable and comfortable in them. Those who have larger pinnae may have a problem with this. I can't judge. It would probably be a good idea to try the headphones first before buying them and decide accordingly. A bit of a problem is the leakiness of the headphones. In winter it will be an undeniable advantage and the ears will be warm and cool, but in summer it is really warm in the headphones and you have to air your ears once in a while. Another frequently mentioned negative is that the ambient mode is too loud. Here I think it's basically the same problem as before. So it depends on the circumstances. I've tried it in different situations and yes, sometimes you can tell that ambient mode is louder, but in some cases it's the other way around. It depends on what you are listening to and how loud and at what volume you are listening to it, and it also depends on the volume of the surroundings. For me, this feature is really cool and I'm really excited about it. As far as active ambient sound cancellation is concerned, it's just not bad. When activated, it's as if the outside world shuts down. I use the headphones a lot on train journeys and it really shows a lot. As far as the sound is concerned, there is not much to complain about here either. For me, the bass tones could be more pronounced, but that's a purely subjective feeling. Everyone likes it differently. I have also noticed complaints about annoying information about switched mode. Well I have to admit that it is really annoying, but on the other hand, how else would I know what mode I am in? But it's really a small thing. Plus, it's easy to understand, and if you just turn on music or a podcast or something, then you're not switching between modes unnecessarily. I downloaded the recommended SXFI player and I have to admit that you can do wonders with the sound through it. And I would say that in this price range the resulting sound from these headphones is above standard and I am extremely satisfied with them. As for the battery life, it is really excellent and there is no risk that you would run out of energy, e.g. on a long journey. Pairing with mobile, tablet, etc. is going perfectly smoothly. Another indisputable advantage is the possibility of folding the headphones for better storage and the included packaging for transporting them in a backpack, for example. The last thing I'd like to point out is that the headphones really do turn themselves off when idle, it just takes a while. Approximately 10 minutes, so be more patient when testing. I can definitely recommend the headphones with a clear conscience.
