I bought the POP chipolo to track my luggage during business trips, which I take quite often. The locator works exactly as I needed it to: it shows me the last known location of the luggage and, thanks to the community network, sometimes someone else nearby picks it up. At least I've got some insight. But it's also useful outside the airport - for example, if I leave my suitcase in my hotel room or in the storage room, I can see that it's not being moved. Fortunately, I have no experience in dealing with the loss or theft of a suitcase, but I believe I would be able to track it down thanks to the last recorded location. Otherwise, the battery lasts for months, the app is simple and clear. In addition to Apple's Find My, it also supports its Android alternative, so we can borrow the locator within the family. It's not a GPS tracker, but for a few hundred it's a great travel accessory and a little insurance

I bought the Chipolo POP tracker on the advice of AI. I was looking for a way and a product that would alert me if I left my bag behind somewhere or if it was stolen – containing my mobile phone and other belongings – as soon as possible and within a short time.
The AI specifically recommended this product to me, saying that if I moved away from my mobile and the Bluetooth signal was lost, the chip would emit a signal, but that didn’t happen. When I asked the AI again, it told me that its initial information had been incorrect. (she lied to me). Another test – again with no positive result, even though I turned off Bluetooth for a distance of about 2 km and for about 10 minutes. The AI told me that the distance needs to be greater and the time longer! I suppose the assumption is that the mobile phone has to be several dozen kilometres away for a few hours?!?! When I last asked about how it worked, the AI told me to return the product and buy something else, and that next time it would advise me on what to get!
I chose this product on the recommendation of an AI, but it turned out to be wrong. As it doesn’t meet my requirements, I can’t rate it, even though it probably does what it’s supposed to. It’s only suitable for people who don’t even put their mobile down ‘in the shower’.
