It's not bad, it plays and is quite in tune (intonation is not 100%, but it can be done). The sound is different than wooden instruments, but not bad, just different. But I wouldn't buy it again for two reasons - the neck is too narrow for my hands (34 mm fret) and the strings are close together (20 mm g-A) and it's harder to play, but I could get over that. However, what I think is unsolvable and unacceptable is the lousy life of the frets - due to the fact that they are plastic (in one piece with the fingerboard), they develop grooves quickly under the strings. I still have the original strings on my ukulele (I've had the ukulele for less than two years, but it's only for travel, so I play it on average about twice a month) and the frets are already rhythmic, so you can sometimes tell when you play it. My guess is that the ukulele will last about two strings and it will be discarded. If someone has it as their only instrument and plays or practices often, I think it will last at most half a year.
This ukulele is made entirely of polycarbonate, so you can paddle it calmly on the water. Forget it in the rain in front of the tent- it will hold up just fine with beer etc. Another attribute is strength. It tunes perfectly and has a strong sound. I recommend adding some reflective element to the black version. You can't see the fire in the dark. I dare to say that this uke can withstand unintentional trampling or if someone falls on it.
It's slightly heavier. However, for such a small instrument, this is an insignificant detail.
