Top quality work for occasional photo printing up to A3+ format and 4800x2400dpi resolution which even the larger 12 ink A2+ Pro-1000 doesn't have which is already more suitable for daily professional use Very similar system to my previous A3+ Pixma 9500 Pro so easy for me to use
Higher ink costs due to still the same small 14ml cartridges as 10+ years ago, this new top model could offer larger and therefore cheaper cartridges, double the size, 28ml, would be ideal otherwise nothing yet
