For drilling in wood or bricks and for screwing, it is absolutely fine. It's also possible to hammer in concrete, but it takes time. It is definitely not to be taken as a replacement for an electric impact drill. Concrete will do, but it takes a long time. For someone who does a shelf or wall cabinet a few times in their life why not. For more frequent use in concrete, I'd probably be better off looking at electric impact/drill hammers. It feels a little heavy in my hand. It has a work light that works quite well, but I'd rather have battery status LEDs than that, I didn't find those there. If someone already has an acoustic screwdriver/drill and wants something with an impact driver I'd rather look for more powerful tools. If you have no cordless drill. This is a decent choice.
