Where to start – this isn’t an inflatable paddling pool at all, but one that you fill with water; furthermore, the description says it’s self-retaining; I take that to mean that once it’s filled with water, there’s no need for the water to keep flowing in under pressure – you can turn it off or disconnect it completely and the water will stay in it, As it is, it’s just a waste of water and probably only suitable for someone who has their own well or is wealthy enough to afford it. Based on the vague description from Alza, I assumed that the rim of the ‘inflatable’ part would be inflated with air and, in the case of a water feature, a hose would be connected to a distribution system just for those jets; but no, this is simply a ring deliberately designed with holes and is therefore absolutely unusable without a constant flow of water. I’m giving this product a negative review because it’s a disaster and Alza’s description is very inaccurate and misleading. The worst thing is that I probably can’t even return it now that I’ve filled it with water, can I? The only thing I can think of to make it work is to buy some patches, seal up all those holes for the water feature, and then inflate it as normal. Would anyone from Alza be willing to send me these patches as compensation? Or should I just bin that paddling pool straight away?
