I'm very surprised, even shocked, that it actually works (at least so far).
I'm using it to get HDMI 2.0 (4K/60Hz for Sony TV) on a computer where native HDMI is only in version 1.4 (integrated GPU on 9900k) and thus does not support such high resolution and refresh rate.
The licensing policy of the HDMI consortium, which forces people to make such copies with an active DP-->HDMI converter, is really puzzling.
I wish TV manufacturers would finally discover that there is a much cheaper and objectively better DisplayPort. Then we wouldn't have to deal with this nonsense.
