If you have mounting holes for a full length 3.5" disk, this reduction is unfortunately too short, I had to improvise and drill holes in the disk shaft in the PC. The processing is nothing special, it's a plain unpainted sheet with sharp edges. In the package there are pads for discs, which are supposed to dampen but maybe it is also protection, because the reduction would probably shake the mechanical disc from the bottom.
Summary: buy a more expensive version of the frame for two disks (AXAGON RHD-225 with which I have better experience and is literally only a few CZK more expensive) than this. I was afraid to take it this time because I thought it would be too tall for the PC (and I only needed one disk), but it would have fit.

An awfully overly "sophisticated" piece of curved and leaky PC sheet metal that allows you to put a faster 2.5" SSD in place of a 3.5" HDD. Brno company, but the plate had to be made in China and transported about 7 650 km. Greta Thunberg pulls her braids, the engineer rolls his eyes and the economist wonders. Not used yet, but I have no idea what could go wrong with it. Hopefully the hole pitches and threads will fit. Nothing else could possibly be wrong there.
