Everything works as it should. In Windows, the disks are visible, can be used for RAID and so on.
BUT
Unfortunately AXAGON PCES-SJ2 = ASM1061 = unbootable controller, so if you want to use it like I did for faster boot, it won't work.
My plan was to have a DUET/REFIND (bootloader) on a USB or part of a disk and use it to point to the disk on this controller. Unfortunately on my X58A-GD65 MS7522 board this is not possible. I don't know how other BIOSes feel about this.
I'm switching to a level better controller with ASM1166. [sdh] Write cache: enabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA
[sdh] Attached SCSI disk [ 5.286397] md: kicking non-fresh sdh1 from array!
linux will automatically find it
Gigabyte B365M D2V board does not see the radic in bios, can not boot from it
the controller does not know DPO/FUA and it causes damage to raid5 during shutdown. It won't write the last event to the superblock.
Only the disk plugged into the Axagon has ever been damaged (out of date)
It works as it should, it supports Hot swap and you will find both standard and low profile plugs in the package.
