Replacement for USB slots for dongles on old monitor. A nice, simple device that serves its purpose perfectly. Long enough cable to connect the desk to the crate on the ground, which is a problem with most hubs.
I plugged a wireless mouse and external drive into the hub. I had copied a large amount of data to disk and the mouse stopped working. When the copying was finished, the mouse caught again.
So far I have not encountered such behaviour anywhere else.
