Great for anyone who wants to use an old M.2 drive from a laptop and get a hub.
I put a 1TB NVME Kingston in the hub and everything runs without a problem. It's not a thunderbolt, but it's perfectly sufficient for normal use. (I use it for photo storage)
At first I was a little worried if the drive would overheat, but the temperature is perfectly fine for NVME drives.
4K monitor support.
In the two weeks of using it, the hub hasn't disconnected once, which has happened to me occasionally with other hubs.
Overall a good product for reasonable money, reason for return was incompatibility with my tablet.
Many functions in one, for someone who carries a laptop and has multiple peripherals to plug in - ideal.
Connects monitor, mouse, keyboard, network cable, ext. drive and internal fast storage (M2 PCIe SSD), and it can read cards - all on one cable.
It also provides charging of the laptop if the USB-C port of the laptop is adapted (set up) for this.
Read and write speeds on the disk are decent (around 500MB per second).
Fast read and write speeds even between devices or cards connected directly in the dock (around 300 MB per second).
Quality material and workmanship of the whole device.
The internal drive is not well cooled, even with the heat sink (included) it does not dissipate heat well, probably due to the internal plastics insulating the drive from the external metal casing and heating and internal electronics.
It doesn't have active cooling and a passive cooler that just floods the space inside will probably shorten the life of the internal SSD or electronics dock.
The ext. connection does not work with the tablet (SGT S9 FE). monitor, i.e. not usable for expanding the tablet into a workstation (reason for return).
The cable is firmly attached to the dock (cannot be replaced if damaged).
