I bought it for an old laptop running proxmox, as a replacement for a slow internal network connection. At first everything looked beautiful, but eventually I had to return it after more than a week of suffering.
After rebooting or disconnecting the cable (restarting the router), sometimes its interface stayed down. I didn't find out why, there was no problem in the logs. Only a script that set it to up helped.
Sometimes, however, it didn't load at all. The lights on the reticule just flickered and stayed off. This then did not help even sholichání with the interface and helped only restart the entire laptop. Even before the system started to boot up, it was clear from looking at the LEDs whether it was successful and the network came to life. Sometimes it didn't and another restart was needed.
The biggest problem, however, was that even though I always eventually got it going, after a while it would rear its head and refuse to transfer traffic to/from containers.
Of course, I don't know if the problem was in the HW, in the drivers, or between the chair and the keyboard, but it doesn't matter in the end. For casual use it will probably be fine and I'll have to make do with an admittedly slower but seamless internal card.
High quality metal design
USB-C with USB-A reduction
When it worked, it ran fast
Not really suitable for permanent connection under linux

The product itself will probably not be bad. It' s just not fully compatible with all ethernet cables/connectors (RJ45). Tried on 2 different cables. For one classic, which one expects - it slides in, it clicks. Unfortunately, with the second one, only the " insert" remained. The connector refused to click. At the same time, this specific connector also clicked into competitive nets from Dell or i-Tec.
not fully compatible with all ethernet cables/connectors (RJ45), some plug in and click, others fail to click
