I’ve been using the keyboard for just over a week and I’m very pleased with it; the switches are great – they’re not loud, but they have a nice sound. The keys are slightly rough and don’t slip. All keyboard settings can be configured via the website, and you can also connect both a keyboard and a mouse to a single dongle (which is what I use, and it works fine). The backlight looks clean; unfortunately, the letters aren’t transparent, but that doesn’t bother me personally. The keyboard is very interesting, particularly because it can be taken apart and customised – something that Asus itself encourages (and makes possible). Unfortunately, there is one downside, and that’s the dial, which looks cheap, wobbles slightly and, more importantly, doesn’t always respond when pressed; so if I press it harder towards the bottom, it sometimes fails to respond, but it’s also possible that this is just a faulty unit – I haven’t found anyone else reporting the same problem.
