The powerful 12-core Zen 5 processor with 3D V-Cache offers superior gaming and multitasking performance with 24 threads and 128MB of cache. In games, the 3D V-Cache CPUs are among the fastest models, although in some titles cheaper octa-core CPUs perform similarly. It handles content creation and multitasking smoothly, with low-power performance and comfortable temperatures under load. The advantage is support for AM5, DDR5 and PCIe 5.0, ensuring long platform life. The downside is a higher price and in some situations a smaller gaming boost over weaker X3D models, which can lower the price/performance ratio for pure gaming setups.
