I replaced it with the original Ryzen 5 3600 and thus extended the life of the AM4 platform.

The base clocks do not use the full potential of the CPU, but it is enough to play around in the BIOS and undervoltage (video on YT: Ryzen 5000 Undervolting with PBO2 – Absolutely Worth Doing; optimum). Undervolting lowers temperatures, the CPU is more stable, and achieves +-10% better results. If you are on an AM4 platform and want to wait for AM6, this CPU is an ideal choice if you are using a gaming/work CPU. If only for gaming, I would choose 5700X3D, 5800X3D.
