It's my first reader, after 2 months of use, I can't imagine being without it. In the beginning, for users who have a problem with English, it can be a challenge to navigate the settings, but after a while you get used to it. I like the fact that I can upload books to the reader even if they were previously purchased in Czech. I was very scared to buy a reader, but I wouldn't change it for train travel, MHD size enough, it's lightweight. In the evening it reads well, but some users may mind that it does not have a yellow backlight, it only has a cold one, you can set the day and night backlight mode, which is enough for me ☺️. If you are thinking about a reader and deciding for a long time, which was my case. You can't go wrong with this reader, it's good value for money, the performance is great, I really couldn't have made a better choice ❤️. And for users who don't fully speak English, don't worry it's not as terrible as it seems. I wish all readers to make the right choice for whatever reader they choose

I recommend to download the Czech dictionary via amazon, if you are reading in English and an unfamiliar word appears just click on the word and it will translate, it is easy to work with

I've been using Kindle readers for over a decade, I can compare experiences with five models as I upgrade over the years. I currently have a previous generation Paperwhite (2021 model) and this. Paperwhite is better on paper, but this little green Kindle is three years newer again. And the changes are visible - a beautifully sharp display, the whole reader is light and tiny. Compared to my older Paperwhite, it's not such a fingerprint magnet. The software is beautifully snappy. I miss the backlight temperature setting, only the Paperwhite models have that - but this matcha Kindle is really just a basic model, so it must be missing something. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied, which is surprising since it was a downgrade in my case. In the black boredom of readers, this Kindle still stands out with its beautiful pastel colour.
