I was with Apple for 13 years and always had an Apple Watch. After all these years, I decided to leave Apple and was looking for both a suitable phone that would give me a lot of bang for my buck, which I hadn't felt with iPhones for a long time, and a new watch. I bought the S26 Ultra phone. Incredibly satisfied, but the watch turned out to be quite a tough nut to crack. I didn't want a Galaxy Watch because Samsung simply can't make good watches. Sure, it has a billion features, but I don't want to charge it every day anymore. That totally irritated me with the Apple Watch. So I looked at Huawei, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Garmin, Pixel Watch. I spent probably 2 months choosing. Then my AI agent recommended Huami, known in Europe as Amazfit. And the choice was clear. An ultimate sports machine with a long battery life. It first recommended the Balance 2, but the extra cost for the latest 3 wasn't that much, so I went straight for the newer one. And I didn't make a mistake. After two weeks of intensive testing, I'm extremely satisfied. The watch has a fantastic large OLED display covered with sapphire. The design is totally subjective. For some, it might be impractical, but for me, it's gorgeous. After the constantly boring, square Apple Watches, this is absolutely brilliant. I like to feel that I have something on my wrist, and this is just how I like it. From a software perspective – everything is fast, no lagging like with the Galaxy Watch. You can install apps from the Store. And if you're missing an app, the AI will create it for you in 10 minutes. Paying with the watch is fine; Zepp Pay doesn't really support our Czech banks, but Curve solves that. You can find instructions online and have it all set up in 10 minutes. I'm no ultramarathon runner. I love cycling, and the watch is brilliant for that. It lasts a full day of riding, you can upload a route from map.cz for example, save it to the watch, and then it guides you like a car sat-nav. It's great. Any downsides? Perhaps just the original strap, but that's probably just my issue. I can't stand silicone. And the charger. They still haven't got rid of the two charging pins, but the charger is something you'll see twice a month at most. And that's the best part at the end. Two to three weeks is completely realistic. So, my verdict? A great machine, with minimal compromises. Not some tacky designer piece, just a functional watch for those who work hard and need a watch they can rely on.
The biggest plus -> battery life! Easily 14 days.
A beautiful, technical, solid, masculine design.
Perfect display
Brilliant ZEPP app
Payments via CurvePay
Sapphire slide
Military-grade durability certification
Support – updates are being released.
It doesn't have an ECG, but it does have the sensors so maybe they'll get it working over time.
Only a few Czech banks support Zepp Pay, but Curve Pay is a great solution for that.
The original strap is a nightmare. It gave me a rash.

I originally had an Apple Watch Ultra, which was a superb watch. But the battery life made me change.
For significantly less money, it's a much better product in my personal opinion.
They could also offer longer original straps for people with larger wrists.
The manufacturer/importer doesn't deal with this and just tells you to buy a longer one somewhere online. I've searched very carefully but haven't managed to find anything. The reason is simple: nobody actually states the length of the straps.

Great for me, has everything it should. It's just a shame that card payments aren't supported by the banks,

Everything works, you just have to get used to the lack of an option to add your own screens with widgets.
Amazing and beautiful watch. Everything is great, I recommend it.
BEWARE! The new OS in this watch no longer supports adding your own screens with widgets.

I had the Balance 2 for a year, so I have a point of comparison. The watch is bigger, heavier and has a much more sporty design than the previous version. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's no longer as versatile for smart occasions. The build quality of the watch is perfect and it really seems to be high quality. The display is absolutely fantastic and completely readable in direct sunlight. The new buttons for use during sports are definitely a plus. The built-in torch is brilliant, I really appreciate it. The battery so far lasts less than the previous version, and it should be the other way around. I have the always-on display turned on, so I understand it uses more power, but I had that on the last one too. Anyway, on average it lasts me about 7 days so far, which is still great.
Fantastic display
The ability to use buttons, unlike the Balance 2.
Sporty look
Built-in flashlight
The battery life is definitely not what the manufacturer claims, although it's still decent.

After three days of using it, I’m really impressed so far. Following on from the Samsung Galaxy Watch and the Tickwatch Pro 5, this represents a huge improvement in terms of battery life. The watch is slightly larger than previous models, but not by much. I like their design, which was probably what prompted me to buy them. Apart from the initial set-up, I’ve got no complaints. The notifications show everything they’re supposed to, including photos (WhatsApp), and the vast majority of the features I was used to are there. I don’t feel as though I’m missing anything, and that’s probably why I didn’t need to stick with Wear OS. In the Zeep app store, I added the features I felt were missing. The sports features are certainly a cut above what you’d find with Mobvoi, for example. The sensor readings seem to be accurate, although I obviously can’t compare them with a chest strap and the like. Overall, the watch’s interface is clear and straightforward, and the same goes for the app on your phone. Once you’ve had a quick look round, everything is easy to find and view. The only downside I can think of is that it constantly forces me to wipe the screen to remove fingerprints, and as for cards, it only accepts MasterCard and cards from certain banks. When I took the watch out of the box, the display was in Spanish. After pairing them, I switched them to Czech, but half the texts remained in ES. Restarting didn’t help; it was only after a factory reset that they booted up in English and could be switched to Czech without any problems.
Battery life
Design (I know it’s subjective)
Apps for your phone
The watch’s motivational interface
Materials used
After the first start-up, they were set to Spanish, and I had to perform a factory reset to get the interface fully in Czech
More limited options for adding cards
The slide is getting smudged
